Qatar, China Explore Fresh Ideas to Break US-Iran Stalemate
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry announced that new diplomatic ideas are being discussed alongside international partners, including China, to end the more than six-month US-Iran war and resolve the critical closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Qatari officials emphasized that ending the current unstable stalemate requires direct political will from both Washington and Tehran, while also expressing strong concern over escalating Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabian cities and Red Sea shipping routes.
